Dr. Buffington

Dr. Buffington is deeply involved in his community, proudly serving as a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. He is also active within his profession, holding memberships in the Collin County Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, Texas Group-One, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Buffington loves all aspects of veterinary medicine. He is a devoted husband, father of two, and a member of Prestonwood North Baptist Church. At home, he enjoys the company of his Shih Tzu, Chip.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, class of 1993, Dr. Buffington initially honed his skills as a mixed animal practitioner in Fort Worth. In 1997, he moved to Frisco to co-found the Stonebrook Family Vet Clinic with Dr. Ken Chitwood. Continuing his passion for veterinary care, Dr. Buffington opened the state-of-the-art Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic on Preston Road in 2019.
